Walk like a man...

 

13 Months

I know we are past the year mark and I should stop counting months, but I'm not going to! This little boy changes SO much everyday, I have to have a place to put it!!

At 13 Months Braxton is.....

• Walking along EVERYTHING.
•  Standing up to everything.
•  He even once stood up by himself in the middle of the room. I think that was a flook thing though.
•  He can sign Up, More, Please, Eat, Drink, Banana, Jesus, Dog, Fish, Candy, Apple, Thank you, Milk, Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa. And we are working on Uncle and Aunt right now.
•  EVERY time Braxton sees a male, he will sign Daddy. Or everytime he sees the computer or hears a phone he will sign Daddy. We can't wait for the real daddy to come home.
•  Braxton will get brave when standing and take a step with one foot and then fall. His first steps are just around the corner. I'm hoping he will wait till his Dad comes home.. But, we will see.
•  Brax is in size 12 month Pants
•  Size 12-18 shirts
•  Size 3 diapers.. STILL!!
•  I'm still nursing him as well, Every morning.
•  I introduced Brax to V8 juice.. He didn't like it, Sorry Mitch.. 
•  He LOVES Nachos, applesauce, popcorn, popcorn puffs, goldfish, fruit snacks, carrots, yogurt, and raw broccoli.
•  When we eat popcorn, he is so good to share, he will grab a piece and say AHHHHHH and puts it in your mouth, then he will sign Thank You! It's so stinking cute!
•  He is really good about sharing his food with everyone, especially his doggy!
•  He LOVES doggies!! Big and small! He can't get enough of them!
•  Braxton throws so pretty crazy tantrums! He will get mad, scream and then slowly (sometimes fast) throw him self back words. It's like he wants to throw a tantrum but doesn't wanna get hurt. It's kinda funny.
•  When he wakes up in the morning and I go to get him, he will sign UP PLEASE, and then MILK PLEASE. And once I pick him up he signs DOGGY and tries to say it. So we walk over to the doggy and he pets him!! 
•  Brax has his first real cold. I would say. He has had things here and there at different times. But this time he has it all. The fever, The green nose, The stuffy nose and runny. The horrible gut wrenching cough. Body aches and shakes. It's breaking my heart. 
•  Brax LOVES his uncles Cody, and Eric. He actually really likes anyone that is male now. He is becoming a little less shy.
•  When Braxton Crawls, he will stick his tongue out and shake his head, just like his doggy.
• He LOVES dogs and fish!
• He claps at himself whenever he accomplishes anything and expects everyone else to clap for him too.
• He has 8 teeth!
• He is working off his 3rd inner ear infection. This one is in both ears.
• He loves giving kisses.
• he knows how to operate my Iphone. He knows to push the button, and slide your finger across the screen.
• He Loves to play the game Blowfish Popper on my phone.
• He loves to be tickled.
• You took your VERY FIRST STEPS on February 21st, 2011, when Mommy wasn't even home to witness it! We need to have a chat about that!

Love Him!

Words cannot express how much I love this little boy. He is HILARIOUS! And he pulls the funniest facial expressions!! I couldn't decide which video to post, so I'll post all 3. They are all very similar, but have their differences!

Big Boy

Braxton is becoming more and more independent each and every day. He insists on feeding himself now. He will turn his head from side to side if I try to feed him. Luckily, he is a pretty neat kid and doesn't make horrible messes! *That is until he is done eating, then he starts playing in it and throwing it..

Balloon

I've been teaching Braxton sign language (as most of you already know this). Braxton absolutely LOVES balloons. So I decided to teach him the sign for balloon. I showed it to him once and he caught right now! What a smart little cookie!! So I captured it on video, and I find his facial expressions and the things he does, HILARIOUS! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
