8 Months

Can I just say this. I SUCK at blogging on time! Phewww.. There it is off my chest! Now that we have that all clear, let me tell you what I really came here to blog about. My sweet, adorable, lovable baby boy. He is now 8 months old! Where has the last 8 months gone?! Can I pay a fee of some sort to stop him from growing?! I LOVE waking up in the morning to that boy! He smiles, flaps his arms and kicks his feet! It makes me feel so loved and special! Before I get him out each morning I say, "Braxton, spit out your binky." At first he would spit it out with his tongue. He now removes it with his hand and throws it. I love it. It is so cute! He is army crawling, rolling over like he is a steam roller, and babbling. He even says "MUM, MA, MOM, NA (all of which I consider ME!!!)" He even says "Da" sometimes too! He does this silly little screeching thing. He gets excited and he sucks air in and makes a funny noise. He is eating peas, squash (one of his favorites), prunes (another FAV), pears, peaches, apples, green beans, Kix, rice crackers, and even some cantalope here and there. He HATES water. He will only drink a juice, either apple or prune. And I try and trick him by putting mostly water and a little juice. NO, that doesn't fly with him! He knows and he won't drink it. He has become my little vacuum. He puts EVERY LITTLE THING in his mouth. I've got to learn to vacuum everyday and not put anything on the floor. (HAHA Ya, right! We all know this won't happen) I love you more and more everyday Braxton. You are my world!
How can you not love this boy?!

Evil Monkey?!

Not a big hat boy!

Thanks to my sister Michelle who made this ADORABLE hat!!

Good-bye Summer

Summer was well spent this year. Down in the beautiful (I think so) New Mexico. Braxton and I were lucky enough to spend 2 whole months down there. Thanks Heidi, Jon, Mitch, and Mom who made it possible for me to go and spend the summer! We had a blast! Lots of crafts, LOTS of Costco Ice cream, lots of naps, lots of laughs, and lots of fun!! It was so great to spend that time with a sister I never grew up with. As the summer came to a close, my other wonderful sister got to come down for a couple days! It was so much fun to spend time as sisters and watch our babies play. They all are so different, and I love it! I have never seen more beautiful smiles than the ones these 3 babies passed out! What amazing talents my sisters have. Michelle, is an amazing crocheter. And Heidi is an amazing photographer! Me.. well, I'm just the entertainer! This is a summer I will hold dear to my heart. I love all my sisters!!

Aren't my sisters GORGEOUS?!
Look at these adorable squeezable bum cheeks and love handles!!

Red Robin..... YYYYYUUUUUUUMMMMMMMM

First things first. I LOVE YOU RED ROBIN!! They not only have a gluten free menu, but, the french fries are safe! They don't cook anything else with them!! This is very very very rare! I think I will be dining there more often. Braxton sat in a big boy highchair for the first time ever. (September 2nd 2010) I got him a big boy cup of water, which he later pulled off the table, all over himself and the floor! It was so bad, they even had to get a "Caution! Wet Floor" sign! Gotta love him!!! I gave him his first french fry ever. He is definitely his mother! He LOVED LOVED LOVED it! He couldn't eat it fast enough! He serious ate it about as fast as I did!!! He wanted more and more and more.. Don't worry, I stopped after 2! haha But we have gone back a couple times since then. He loved to chew on the straws as well. He is such a big boy now! We went again today (September 10 2010). They put a lemon in my water and I didn't want it. So I decided to let Brax try it and see if he liked it. Ya just gotta see the video to see his reaction!! It was HILARIOUS!! Love this boy!!

Cardboard Box

Let me just say this.. Braxton LOVES cardboard boxes!! Haha it is so funny. So I decided to let him sit in one. He loved it. He was flapping his arms and jibber jabbing!!

Reading Time/ Ballon Museum

They have a free "Reading time" activity once a week for kids not in school. So, we went to one that was in the Albuquerque Balloon Museum. And, we got to tour the museum after for FREE!!! The sang a song, read a book, dance, and made party hats at reading time! Braxton was pretty entertain, especially after I gave him a balloon to play with! Huge success! I hope I can find something like this in Utah.

Isotopes

We went to the Albuquerque Isotopes baseball game. I love, love, love baseball! I couldn't wait to go!! Braxton does REALLY well at baseball games, thank heavens! We were sitting in the "fly ball zone". One of the players hit a fly ball, it went zooming right above our heads, and nailed a guy a couple feet behind us right in the shower! Thank heavens it wasn't any of the babies!!!

Go, Go, Go-go Banana's

I gave Brax his first whole banana awhile back. (Sorry, I suck at blogging on time!) It was clear back on August 17th in fact! Almost a month late! I'll try better next time!! He loved every bite of it. He got to the end of it and I was worried that he would suck it in and choke on it. So, I just mashed it up and fed it to him. He is my little monkey!
