Play Date
Braxton and Lilia had a play date yesterday! It was so fun to watch them play together. Brax definitely needs more play dates with babies!!! And his momma needs play dates with other momma's! Lilia is Krista's (my best friend) sister, Aubrie's, daughter! (confused yet?! haha) She is ADORABLE!!!
Braxton kept stealing her toys! And they would steal them back and forth!
Temple Square.
I took Braxton to Temple Square last night for the first time ever. My mom, Emily, Me and Braxton all went. Poor little Brax could barely move he was so bundled up! At least he was warm right? We walked around and looked at all the lights. And he said "WOW" to everything! He absolutely loved it! The lights were beautiful this year. He also enjoyed watching all the horses pull the carriages and the Scottish man play his bag pipes! We will for sure be returning next year!

Braxton's 1st Christmas
Braxton woke up at 8 a.m. He started crying from the second he woke up. I took him down the stairs and showed him all the presents that Santa brought him. I tried to set him down, he wasn't having that.
So I held him and gave him some presents, and he wasn't having that. So I gave him some food... That is all he wanted. After I fed him, I tried to give him some more presents and he just didn't quite know what to do with them, so I helped him open them. He LOVED his toys that made noise and sang.
After the toys, he lost interest, so he had like 10 un-opened presents until I opened them later that night (clothes are boring anyways!) We went to his other grandma's house and opened presents there. She gave him a super cute teddy bear that will say his name, and sing to him. He loved it! We relaxed the rest of the day! I think it was an OKAY Christmas for him! Not that he will remember it....

Braxton's 1st Christmas Eve
WOW! This first year is FLYING by! Christmas Eve already? I remember the Christmas Eve I was pregnant with him. Lots of food, family, laughter, and presents. This year it was just the same, minus the husband, and plus the baby! We went to Eric's house, had a TON of food, played some games, and opened some gifts. Braxton lasted about an hour before he started crying, and rubbing his eyes. He is a crib boy and won't sleep anywhere but there. So I couldn't put him anywhere. So it was kind of miserable for the both of us. He had a lot of funeral potatoes, turkey, beans, salsa, and chips! I let him open up his Christmas pajamas. We didn't get home till about 1 in the morning. I still had to nurse him and get him ready for bed. So he didn't get to bed till about 2 in the morning!!!

11 Months!
Wow. I can't believe I will have a one year old in a month! Where have the last 11 months gone? They have gone TOO fast, that's for sure!! If someone finds a way to freeze time, please let me know. Here are some stats on my little man
Braxton is somewhere around 20 lbs.
I don't know his height.
Braxton is signing. He knows "More, Please, Milk, Fish, Dog, Banana, Eat/Food, Drink, Thank you (he only does that once in awhile), and Bath"
Braxton is crawling EVERYWHERE!
He knows how to climb up the stairs.
He is standing up to everything.
He tries to climb up my bed
He can say Da da da da, Mom, Ma, WAH (Wow), DAH (Dog)
He loves all animals, mostly dogs though. He would jump out of my arms for a dog.
He is still nursing 3 times a day.
Still eating 3-4 solid meals a day
Lots of snacks a day
He loves applesauce, yogurt, rice cereal, broccoli (raw and pureed), cauliflower, peas, carrots, mashed potatoes, chicken, turkey, and any kind of juice.
He loves "building stuff" He tries to put things inside of other things. We gave him 2 measuring cups, and he sat there forever, not moving, just trying to stack them. And put them inside each other.
He is really good at throwing tantrums, and getting his way! He is becoming very independent and wants to do things on his own.
He HATES Santa Clause.
He can play "Pat-a-cake" and "Peek-a-boo"
When he listens to music he bounces his head, and claps his hands. He has some pretty cool grooves!
He LOVES the bath. And he loves to play with his toys in the bath.
He LOVES chocolate covered cinnamon bears....
He HATES getting his diaper changed, and clothes put on him.
Here is some more pictures, just for enjoyment...

Some much needed videos
So, The first video, Braxton does this when he is happy/excited! Cutest thing ever! He sucks in air and gasps. Love it!
In this video, I set my mom's ringtone to a Christmas song, and every time he hears it he shakes his head like that and waves his arms!
In this video, he decided he wanted to pull himself up to the table, and swing his legs, like he was on monkey bars! He only does it for a slit second in the beginning.
