A lil' update

I thought I would give a little update on my Guapo Mitchell. He seems to be doing really well over there. He looks happy and seems to be happy. We are 1/3 of the way through this deployment!!! Waaaaaawhooooo!!! 2011 will you please come sooner? I have been extremely blessed that technology has grown so much. Mitch and I are able to Skype or google chat almost everyday!! It helps me and I believe it helps him. He is able to see his little boy whenever he wants. So he still gets to see him grow, smile, and giggle. We send some snail mail as well. I send him packages, he sends me some. He even sent me a Genie lamp, hopefully my wish will come true!! Here are a few photos from him.

I love him! He is the happiest little boy. I can't wait to wake up in the morning to see his smile. Speaking of waking up, Brax has learned how to fake cough. So he wakes up early and starts out with one cough and quietly and it gradually gets louder and more coughs. It sounds soooooo girly! I just laughed and laughed this morning when he did it. How do babies learn these things?!

 

Facials

My sister went to the rodeo with my brother to take some pictures. So I decided that I was going to have a fun night with the girls. I had some green facial mud, grandma had the cucumbers, and a face mister. I love my sweet nephew Bro-bro. He just wants to do everything his sisters are doing, so we did a facial and pedicure on him as well. We had so much fun!! I love being a girl!

Week Full Of Fun!!!

I think this may be the longest I have been away from my blog, I am shocked! My sister and her family have been in town the last week, let me just say, it has been a week of nothing but fun filled days!! We have been so many places and done so many things. We went to the Manti, Mormon Miracle Pageant. We went the The Living Planet Aquarium. We went to the Sweet's Candy Factory and did a tour of the factory. We went swimming. Went to my brothers wedding. We are yet to have a break!!!

 

Everyone that went on the tour had to wear these awesome hair nets. We all make pretty great lunch ladies don't we!?

I promised my nieces I would have a Kool-Aid stand with them. I told them that Krista and I used to make over $100 some days! They were so excited! Well, let's just say, I did most of the work! They weren't as interested in it as Krista and I used to be. But, I still hope they had tons of fun! Cause I sure did!

Summer Time!!!!

I took Braxton swimming for his first time ever on June 9th, 2010! It was so much fun! Well, I should say I had so much fun. As for Brax, he didn't have quite as much fun. He didn't love that the water was cold. Cause his momma spoils him with super warm bath water. And, we were in the little kids section and of course, little kids will  be little kids. They were jumping and splashing and running. And everytime Brax got splashed... He screamed.. After awhile he would just shake it off. He better get used to it because we are going down to New Mexico for the whole summer. We are gonna be pool bums down there!!!

Bee's Game

Me, Nyles, Kira, Eric, Emily, Dylan, and Braxton all went to the Salt Lake Bee's Baseball game. We rode Trax up to get Dylan, then off to the game we went! It was a lot of fun. I love the baseball environment. I hope one day Braxton will love it as much as I do. If not, that is ok too! Whatever he loves, I will love too! It wasn't very crowded at the game, and the mascot walked the row right in front of us! So, I grabbed him and said, "Here! Hold my baby so I can get a picture!" He surprisingly did. Turned out cute! I hope to have more days at the baseball field with the family! Good times and lots of laughter!

 

 

 

Zoo!

I took Braxton to the Zoo for the first time with my Friend Mikelle. It was such a nice day, but extremely crowded. It was extremely hot as well. Braxton absolutely loved the monkeys! He would follow them from side to side, up and down. All of the other animals didn't seem to interest him. I think it was because the monkeys were right behind the glass, and the other animals were to far away for him to see. We were by the orangutan's and the baby orangutan came right up the window, climbed up it and was face to face with Braxton. It was so funny!! The monkey did it quite a few times. After that, Braxton fell asleep for most of the zoo. I took him on the carousel for the first time ever. And also, the train that went around the zoo. He seemed to enjoy both of those! We had a great time, I can't wait to go again!!

Ok, so I got him out of his stroller to ride the train, the second I picked him up, he puked EVERYWHERE. All down my back, in my hair and all on the ground. I had to take a picture of it because it was such a large amount.
